This is a contemporary 3-1/2" square newel post with a beveled top edge. This newel looks great with the 5060 or 5360 contemporary wood baluster spindles. This type of wood newel is also available fluted (see 4000F newel) or with a chamfered side edge (see 4000C newel). Available in two sizes - 48" and 58". Please call if you need one longer.
